SK-II Super Powered Assistant (SPA) is exactly what the name suggests – a tool to give the Beauty Influencers(BIs) superpowers in their day-to-day tasks. Currently, the App is used by 700 stores and over 1,500 SK-II's in-store Beauty Influencers in Japan.
The Beauty influencers are allowed to switch in between the back of house app and the consumer-facing interface by quick access. In the back of the house, the BIs can check the logistics of the store, customer information, and even personal development. And for the front house is using for interacting with shoppers which come with skin consultation and product catalog.

THE GOAL

There are two different users we are designing for: Store managers(SMs) and Beauty influencers(BIs). On top of it, there are there main EPICs we need to consider as well : consumer epic,BI epics, and operations epics.
The goal is to help both BIs and SMs to tackle their daily tasks efficiently, at the same time to help them better communicate with customers.

We worked in a small, interdisciplinary teams with clients as partners. For each epic, we conducted user research and workshop with stakeholders to understand the different user’s needs and pain points.
VISUAL/UI DESIGN

Everyone likes the feeling of accomplishment that comes with winning. This concept turns SPA into a game where every shift is an opportunity for the BI to win her day. Completing any task, from clocking-in to engaging new customers, get her closer to victory. And SPA encourages her and celebrates her accomplishments along the way.
